Antique Tool Group for Facebookers

Say what you like about Facebook, sorry, Meta, with its creepy data gathering-ways and what-not, but the site is a great place for people to connect with others who share their passions, no matter how esoteric. Case in point: The Antique Woodworking Hand Tools group. The collective, which boasts over 11,000 members, is specifically concerned with before and after photos of hand tool restorations. It’s also, apparently, okay to offer items for sale. This antique wood lathe, for example, used to produce bed posts in the 19th century, was posted for sale this week with an asking price of $150. Pretty cool!
