Greetings, fellow lovers of antique tools! After several years of following dozens of fascinating collectors on Instagram, we decided that it would be great to have a website that served the dual purpose of (1) centralizing a number of resources–shopping, research and community–currently available on the internet but requiring lots of Googling to find the good stuff and (2) starting to write about the topic of collecting and the people and businesses who do it. Many of you already know each other well, I’m sure, but I hope you will take the time to provide feedback on the site and even get involved in some way: If you’d be interested in writing something about your collection or some related area of expertise, let us know; if you routinely go scavenging at flea markets or other events, send us some photos along with a description of your day; if you’re going to be organizing an event or launching a special sale, please write in!
